Marrie Shirzada joins us as a first-year associate in our Corporate Commercial and Tax Groups in Toronto.

Marrie Shirzada joins us as a first-year associate in our Corporate Commercial and Tax Groups in Toronto.

While at law school, she was awarded the Course Prize in Taxation. As well, she served as a student caseworker with Queen’s Legal Aid, Independent Research Student, Editor of the Canadian Journal of Commercial Arbitration and Queen’s Law Journal, member of the Student Advisory Committee for the Queen’s Legal Aid and Project Lead for the Queen’s Tax Law Society.

‘Marrie is a great asset to our corporate commercial practice. I look forward to working with her’, says senior counsel Stephen Jackson. She will also be working closely with Brian Nichols on tax matters.
