Hicks Morley is pleased to announce that Alyssa Jagt has joined the firm as a labour and employment lawyer in our Toronto office.
Alyssa provides practical and strategic advice on a wide-range of labour and employment issues. She also represents clients in human rights complaints, grievance arbitrations, wrongful dismissal claims, labour injunctions, employment standards complaints and employment contract disputes.
Alyssa received her Juris Doctor from Queen’s University and completed her articles with Hicks Morley. While studying at Queen’s, she worked at the Queen’s Business Law Clinic as a student caseworker, and worked as a student editor on the Canadian Labour and Employment Law Journal. Prior to attending law school, Alyssa completed her Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree at Queen’s Smith School of Business. Alyssa continued to be involved with the School of Business while in law school, as a Research Assistant in the field of Organizational Behaviour, and as a Teaching Assistant for courses in Human Resource Management and Labour Relations.
