John is a registered patent agent and works principally on patent prosecution for clients in the high-tech industry. He also counsels clients on trade-mark, copyright and licensing issues. Before attending law school, John conducted research in the artificial intelligence groups at McGill University and the University of Toronto. Prior to joining us, John worked in the IP group of a large full-service firm in Toronto.
