Lerners LLP is pleased to announce that Tammy Ring has been appointed Managing Partner of our Toronto office. A senior partner in our Plaintiff Personal Injury Group, Tammy is a passionate advocate for her clients, whose practice is marked by consensus building, leadership and achieving results. Originally hailing from St. John’s, Newfoundland, Tammy joined Lerners in 2008 and is an active member in the community, sharing her time as a mentor and volunteer. Tammy previously held the role of Personal Injury Practice Group Leader and member of the Diversity and Inclusion Steering Committee and sat as a member of the firm’s Executive Committee from 2020 until 2022.

Lerners LLP has a long-standing history and reputation for promoting and advancing women in leadership roles in both its Toronto and London offices since the early ‘70s. We were the first Canadian law firm to reach gender parity amongst our partners, as well as one of the first to have a female managing partner, and more than half of our firm leadership positions are held by women.
