Loopstra Nixon LLP welcomes Austin Ray as an Associate.

His practice focuses on municipal, land use planning and development law, where he acts for a diverse range of both public and private clients.

Austin holds a B.A. in European Studies from the University of King’s College, during which time he spent a year studying at the University of Freiburg in Germany. He obtained his J.D. from the University of Toronto.

He joined Loopstra Nixon LLP as a summer student, articled at the firm, and has been practicing as a lawyer at the firm since his call to the bar.

In his spare time, Austin enjoys reading history books and science fiction novels, following Formula One, and going on hikes with his French Bulldog.
