Loopstra Nixon LLP Welcomes Daniel Cohen as an Associate.

Daniel Cohen is an associate in the Commercial Litigation practice group.

Daniel is developing a broad litigation practice and is driven by a client-first approach.

Daniel is a graduate of the dual Canadian and American Juris Doctor program at the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy.

During law school, Daniel competed in multiple moot competitions as a member of the UDM Moot Court Board of Advocates and was committed to helping clients as a member of Windsor’s Community Legal Aid. Daniel also completed a Judicial Internship with the Honourable Margaret Van Houten of the Third Circuit Judicial Court of Michigan.

Prior to law school, Daniel obtained his Bachelor of Arts from McGill University.Before joining the firm as an associate, Daniel summered and articled at a mid-sized Toronto law firm with a focus in civil litigation.

Outside of work, Daniel enjoys watching sports, playing golf, and spending time with friends and family.
