Loopstra Nixon welcomes Lily Modir as an Associate.

Lily is an associate in the Corporate & Commercial practice group.

Her practice encompasses a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, and secured financing.

Lily obtained her J.D. from Queen’s University Faculty of Law. During law school, she worked at Queen’s Legal Aid, where she received the Dan Soberman Award in recognition of her outstanding contributions. She also holds a B.A. from Toronto Metropolitan University, where she graduated with distinction.

Lily began her legal career at Loopstra Nixon as a summer student, later articled with the firm, and returned as an associate following her Call to the Bar in 2025.

Outside of work, she enjoys pilates, trying new restaurants, and attending festivals.
