Mathews Dinsdale Welcomes Maureen M. Quinlan to the Firm

Mathews Dinsdale is pleased to announce that Maureen Quinlan has joined the Firm as a Partner in our Toronto office. Maureen is a senior litigation lawyer whose practice is focused on employment litigation, particularly in claims covered by employment practices liability insurance. She is panel counsel for several major Canadian insurers in the EPLI area. Maureen has significant experience representing employers in civil litigation and statutory proceedings, defending claims involving wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment and constructive dismissal. Maureen has expertise acting for employers in claims related to both short-term and long-term disability benefits, as well as defending employers in claims of discrimination and alleged failure to accommodate. She also provides proactive advice on a wide range of labour and employment-related issues including employment standards, employment contracts, wrongful dismissal, unjust dismissal, human rights, privacy and workplace safety and insurance in both the provincial and federal contexts.
