Henein Hutchison welcomes new associate Maya Borooah to the firm. Maya’s litigation practice focuses on a broad range of criminal and regulatory litigation. Maya has experience working on a variety of matters at all levels of court, including trials at the Provincial and Superior Courts of Ontario, and appeals to the Ontario Court of Appeal.

Prior to joining Henein Hutchison, Maya clerked at the Alberta Court of Appeal, and articled at a top labour and civil litigation firm in Toronto. While in law school, Maya was a division leader in the Criminal Law Division of the University of Ottawa Community Legal Clinic, where she represented low income clients in a variety of matters.
