Miller Thomson Welcomes Alex Bruvels

Miller Thomson is pleased to announce that Alex Bruvels has joined the Firm as a Partner, effective June 30th. His arrival strengthens the Firm’s Corporate, M&A, and Securities group.

Alex brings valuable expertise as a capital markets lawyer, specializing in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions. He serves clients across diverse industries such as mining, real estate investment trusts (REITs), private equity with a focus on real estate funds and technology. Alex excels in providing strategic advice on a wide range of transactions, including venture capital financings, initial public offerings, reverse takeovers, private placements, public equity and debt financing, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and general corporate and securities matters.

In the community, Alex participates as a committee member in the Advisory Group on Finance to the Ministry or Natural Resources of Canada and provincial and territorial mining ministries contributing recommendations to enhance the Canadian mineral, mining, and metals sector. His involvement underscores his commitment to industry development and regulatory advancements.
