Liviu Cananau provides advice to clients in relation to corporate, real property, expropriation and municipal matters.  Prior to joining Miller Thomson, Liviu spent a number of years as land acquisition, expropriation and commercial counsel to a municipality in connection with a large regionally significant public infrastructure project.  Liviu’s expropriation experience includes partial and full land takings covering various types of land interests including fee simple and easement rights in densely developed, as well as, in low density and vacant land environments.  Liviu also has experience providing large infrastructure project procurement, administration, construction and implementation advice.
