Miller Thomson welcomes Stephanie Romano as Associate in our Vaughan office

Stephanie Romano’s practice focus primarily in family law. She offers her clients a variety of skills, knowledge and expertise to assist them in moving forward following the breakdown of a relationship or marriage. Stephanie works cooperatively with her clients to achieve the best results through creative solutions addressing her client’s specific and individual needs. She is a strong advocate, with experience representing clients in the court process as well as through private mediation and arbitration.

Prior to practicing in family law, Stephanie had a general corporate commercial practice with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, securities and corporate finance matters. During her years of practice, she was involved on numerous high net worth matters, including Glencore International’s acquisition of Viterra Inc. for approximately $6.1 billion, the sale of certain assets owned by Viterra Inc. to each of Agrium Inc. and Richardson International for aggregate gross proceeds of approximately $2.6 billion, as well as various other public offerings and transactions. Her experience practicing corporate commercial law has proved invaluable to her family law practice. She brings that financial knowledge to assist her family law clients through their difficult circumstances.
