Oatley Vigmond Welcomes Associate Lawyer Bennet Dawson

The partners at Oatley Vigmond are pleased to announce that Bennet Dawson has joined the firm as an Associate Lawyer.

Bennet’s practice is dedicated to representing people who have been seriously injured and helping them overcome the legal obstacles that can stand in the way of their recovery. He is committed to guiding clients through the litigation process with compassion, clear communication, and a practical approach, while advocating for the compensation they are entitled to. Bennet understands that a serious injury can affect every aspect of a person’s life, and he is passionate about helping clients and their families move forward with confidence.

Bennet’s connection to Oatley Vigmond began in 2020 when he joined the firm as a junior law clerk. He returned as a summer student in 2022 and again in 2023, gaining hands-on experience working alongside the firm’s lawyers on complex personal injury matters. Following his call to the Ontario Bar in 2024, Bennet joined the firm as an Associate Lawyer, continuing his commitment to representing injured Ontarians.

Bennet earned his Juris Doctor from the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law at Lakehead University. During law school, he developed a strong interest in plaintiff-side advocacy and building meaningful relationships with clients during some of the most challenging times in their lives. He also holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with distinction, from the University of Toronto.
