Oatley Vigmond Welcomes Associate Lawyer Fiona Tobin

The partners at Oatley Vigmond are pleased to announce that Fiona Tobin has joined the firm as an Associate Lawyer.

Fiona’s practice is dedicated to representing individuals who have suffered serious personal injuries, helping them pursue the compensation they need to rebuild their lives. She is committed to ensuring every client and their family feels heard, supported, and informed while navigating the legal system. Fiona believes compassionate advocacy and strong client relationships are essential to achieving meaningful results for injured Ontarians.

Fiona first joined Oatley Vigmond as a summer student before returning to complete her articles with the firm. Following her call to the Ontario Bar in 2024, she has joined the firm as an Associate Lawyer, continuing her commitment to plaintiff personal injury law.

Fiona earned her Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School and an Honours Bachelor of Arts with High Distinction from the University of Toronto. During law school, she participated in Osgoode’s Anti-Discrimination Intensive Program, where she provided legal advice and representation to applicants before the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario. She also volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada, researching access to justice issues affecting communities in northern Ontario.

In addition to her legal practice, Fiona enjoys hiking, canoeing, and reading. Her dedication to advocacy has already been recognized by the legal profession, including being named to Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in Canada for Personal Injury Litigation in 2026.
