OBA Honours Lisa Borsook of WeirFoulds

WeirFoulds LLP is pleased to announce that Lisa Borsook will be honoured by the Ontario Bar Association with the 2014 OBA Award of Excellence in Real Estate.

WeirFoulds LLP is pleased to announce that Lisa Borsook will be honoured by the Ontario Bar Association with the 2014 OBA Award of Excellence in Real Estate.

Lisa has helped shape commercial real estate development throughout the Greater Toronto Area and throughout Canada. Among her notable mandates, she has negotiated and completed commercial leases for a variety of landlords. She has also acted for numerous tenants as well as numerous government agencies, including with respect to the development of Filmport in the Portlands on behalf of the Toronto Port Lands Company, and the development of various port facilities in the Portlands on behalf of the Toronto Port Authority.

In addition, Lisa has expanded her expertise to include other aspects of commercial real estate in general, quarterbacking numerous complicated real estate development projects for various clients from the ground up, creating teams of real estate, municipal, environmental, infrastructure, leasing, tax and other lawyers to facilitate in the development of projects in this province.
