Rayman Beitchman Welcomes Conner Harris

Rayman Beitchman LLP is pleased to welcome Conner Harris as an associate practicing in expropriations law and commercial litigation.

Prior to joining Rayman Beitchman in 2015, Conner spent a year at another leading civil litigation and expropriation firm in Toronto. Prior to that, he served as a law clerk for the Honourable Madam Justice Heneghan of the Federal Court of Canada. In his role as a law clerk, Conner assisted in cases in areas as diverse as immigration and refugee law, maritime law, intellectual property, privacy and access to information, aboriginal law, employment and labour law, human rights and administrative law. While serving as a law clerk Conner was part of the team that placed second in the annual Exchequer Cup law clerks moot competition.

Conner earned his JD from the University of Manitoba in 2013, and graduated with the University Gold Medal in Law for the highest grade point average in the JD program. While in law school Conner earned a number of awards and academic prizes, and was selected to represent the University of Manitoba at the Laskin Moot Court competition. He was also selected to spend a semester as a law clerk for the judges of the Manitoba Court of Appeal, assisting on cases in the areas of class actions, criminal and constitutional law. Conner worked on professional discipline cases as a summer student at the Law Society of Manitoba while in law school. Prior to law school Conner earned his Bachelor of Science and Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Lakehead University.
