Savards LLP is pleased to welcome Julia Kirby as an associate.
Julia practices criminal law at both the trial and appellate levels. After law school, she worked for Chief Justice Tulloch, Associate Chief Justice Fairburn, and Justice Gillese at the Ontario Court of Appeal. Following that, she clerked for Justice Moldaver at the Supreme Court of Canada. Before joining Savards LLP, Julia worked at one of the largest commercial law firms in New York as a litigator and at another criminal defence boutique in Toronto conducting criminal trials and appeals. In addition to practicing criminal law, Julia is also an adjunct professor at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law.
