Andrea Berenbaum joins Smart & Biggar, Canada’s leading firm for intellectual property law, adding to the strength of the firm’s Patent practice group in Vancouver.

Andrea’s practice focuses on chemical, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology patents, and includes the drafting and prosecution of such patents. She provides opinions and conducts due diligence for her clients, which include academic institutions, research hospitals, start-ups and independent inventors across Canada. She also services large corporations and other patent agents in Canada and around the world working in industries like energy, oil and gas, cannabis, food and beverage, agricultural sciences, medical devices and nanotechnology.
