Stevenson Whelton LLP is pleased to announce that Meaghan Coker has joined the firm as an Associate.

Stevenson Whelton LLP is pleased to welcome Meaghan Coker to its team.  Meaghan is joining Stevenson Whelton LLP as Associate after articling with the firm in 2021-2022.

Meaghan is building a broad litigation practice in the areas of civil and commercial litigation, public and administrative law, personal injury and medical malpractice.

Meaghan graduated with her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Ottawa.  During law school, Meaghan was active in the Faculty’s mooting program, competing in the Harold G. Fox Intellectual Property Moot and the Oxford International Intellectual Property Moot, earning recognition in the best-written submissions category.

Prior to law school, Meaghan held policy development roles in the public, non-profit, and private sector.  She has worked in the areas of economic development, transportation infrastructure, telecommunications, first nations energy solutions, disability rights, and poverty reduction.
