Stikeman Elliott is pleased to welcome a new member to the partnership. As of January 1, 2019, Lanette Wilkinson is a partner in the Toronto office’s Real Estate, Energy, and Project Development and Finance Groups. She has experience in various aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, structuring, development and financing, as well as commercial leasing and related matters. She also has specific expertise in the electricity and renewable energy sectors. Lanette has advised a variety of clients, including developers, lenders, contractors, purchasers and government agencies, in connection with multiple aspects of the electricity sector. She works extensively on project development and finance, contract negotiations, and mergers, acquisitions and dispositions involving electricity projects. In addition, she regularly advises on real estate, construction, procurement, and regulatory matters.
