Torkin Manes Welcomes New Associate Calogero Rumeo

Torkin Manes is pleased to announce that Calogero Rumeo has joined the firm as an associate in our Insurance Defence Group.

Calogero (Cal) Rumeo is an associate in our Insurance Defence Group. He formerly worked at a boutique insurance defence firm in Toronto and gained extensive experience on a broad range of insurance defence matters including fraud actions, coverage, personal injury, occupiers liability, product liability and property matters.

He has conducted arbitrations at the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, the Automobile Accident Benefits Service of the Licence Appeal Tribunal and under the Arbitration Act. He has also successfully argued numerous complex motions before masters and judges in the Superior Court and Divisional Court in Ontario.
