Ira has over 20 years of experience practicing in information law and health law. She has worked both in-house and in private practice in the United States and Canada.

Ira holds a Master in Public Policy from Harvard University, a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Toronto, and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy (with Distinction) from Stanford University.  She is a member of the bars of Ontario, California, and New York.
