Filion Wakely Thorup Angeletti LLP is pleased to announce that Alyssa Johnson has joined the firm as an associate in our Hamilton office. Alyssa practices in all areas of labour and employment law, including labour disputes, human rights, wrongful dismissal defense litigation, employment standards, employment contracts, and workplace investigations. Prior to joining the firm, Alyssa received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Victoria in 2018, and thereafter earned her Juris Doctor from Queen’s University in 2022. During her time at Queen’s Faculty of Law, Alyssa was an editor for the Canadian Labour and Employment Law Journal, a teaching assistant for courses in workplace law and public international law, and completed an internship with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency. Alyssa has developed a strong passion for advocacy and workplace law. Alyssa was both a Summer and Articling student with the firm before returning as an associate.
