Joel McElravy Joins Cassels Brock

Joel McElravy is an associate in the Securities Group at Cassels Brock in Toronto. Joel was previously a summer and articling student at the firm. As an articling student, Joel gained valuable experience assisting with a variety of corporate transactions involving public and private issuers and investment dealers.

Joel holds a J.D. with a concentration in business law from Western University’s Faculty of Law, where he was a member of the 2012 Dean’s Honour List and a recipient of the J.S.D. Tory writing award.

Prior to attending law school, Joel earned a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto. He then went on to perform mutual and hedge fund analysis for a large Canadian mutual fund company. Joel has over four years of experience working in the financial services industry and has passed Level I of the CFA Program.
