McLeish Orlando Welcomes Sonam Sapra as an Associate

Sonam joined McLeish Orlando as a summer law student and returned to complete her articling term after graduating from Windsor Law and Detroit Mercy Law. After completing her articles, Sonam was called to the bar in June 2023 and subsequently joined the firm as an Associate.
Prior to law school, Sonam received a Bachelor of Science from Western University, where she double majored in Medical Science and Genetics.
Sonam’ s dedication to justice and desire to help vulnerable communities led her to interest in personal injury law. During law school, Sonam founded the Health Law Association where she helped educate others on the importance of personal injury law and volunteered as a caseworker at Windsor Law’s Community Legal Aid Clinic. Sonam was also a peer mentor, actively involved in The Windsor Review and served as president to the South Asian Law Students’ Association.
In her free time, Sonam enjoys playing pickleball and tennis, exploring Toronto’s food scene, reading summer reads and spending time with her friends and family.
