Pape Salter Teillet welcomes Tasha Paramalingam to the partnership
April 1, 2025Pape Salter Teillet LLP is delighted to announce that Tasha Paramalingam has been made a partner of the firm.
Since joining PST in 2020, Tasha has developed a practice working with Indigenous governments to advance their vision of self-government and self-determination. Tasha provides advice on legal issues confronting Indigenous communities, including governance, treaty negotiation and implementation, litigation, environmental and resource protection, and consultation and engagement with governments and proponents.
Prior to joining PST, Tasha worked at the Ontario Human Rights Commission, the Ministry of the Solicitor General, and Sidley Austin LLP in their Washington, DC office.
Tasha holds a J.D. from Yale Law School and a B.A., magna cum laude, in Justice and Peace Studies from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. Tasha is called to the bar in Ontario, Yukon, New York, and Washington, DC.
