Smart & Biggar is pleased to welcome associate Lesley Gallivan to our leading Trademark practice. Located in our Ottawa office, Lesley will assist clients in protecting their brands and offer practical guidance.

Lesley is an experienced lawyer and trademark agent. She brings almost a decade of experience helping brand owners secure and protect their trademarks for complex products across a wide range of commercial sectors including pharmaceuticals, chemical, aerospace, manufacturers industrial and mechanical equipment and consumer products.

She works with a wide range of domestic and international clients, providing them with practical advice and tailored solutions to navigate Canada’s IP laws and practice as it relates to trademarks and focuses on understanding their business goals and unique brand requirements at the outset. She has developed particular skills in assisting clients with selection of the appropriate goods & services classifications to achieve the right level of trademark and brand protection for their business needs.
